Remebering Funny Komiks ( some comic scans)

After surfing in the pages of PEX, got some cool scanlations of Funny Komiks. Read below for the scan comics of Nik Nok and SuperKat

    Ha ha! I remember that line ad at the bottom of the Superkat komiks where you can win a Motocross bike. I was drooling over that bike for a long time then my dad bought it for me one day. I was ecstatic!

    And for clarification's sake, it wasn't a REAL Motocross motorcycle, it was just a bicycle done up to look like a motorcycle. I can still remember the foot brakes.

    Ah, the wonderful '80s. :)

    One of the secret of Funny komiks' success is the wonderful and accurate flat colors. Simple pero kung papansin, napakaminimal ng lampas. Very neat.

    Our copies used to be delivered to us because it was under a subscription. That was also pretty neat for us kids back then.

    Haha I actually have some very very old issues, hindi pa ata ako buhay pinamana ng mga pinsan ko sakin, hanggang ngayon buo pa kahit na yung iba gula gulanit na, I remember superdog kaya nagkaroon ng superkat dahil sumikat, darmo adarna, my fav also, tinay pinay (lahat ng versions hahaha), combatron, planet of the apes, at madami pang and yung si niknok tatay pala ni eklok hahaha! galeng!

    I have over at least 800+ copies sa bodega namin ng funny komiks dated back 1986 pababa hanggang sa last issue bago i cut, w/c is their 26th anniversary issue. I also miss FK, certified Laking FK ako! huhuhu, I'll scan also some of it pag nakauwe ako ng probinsya sa blog ko. wuhu! apir!

    Nauna ang Superkat kesa kay Superdog. Napansin ko nga, magkahawig any costume nila.

    Bago magkaroon ng Eklok at Ninok, meron din silang predecessor na batang bulol sa FK na Batute ata ang pangalan (di ko sigurado).

    Paborito ko noon si Mahimud Ali, yung kalabaw na boksingero. Pati si Rex Agila, na di masyadong tumagal. Hanggang ngayon ako lang yata ang nakakaalala sa character na iyon. Medyo nagkasabay sila ng seryeng Dax, pero naging mas popular ata si Dax kaya na-discontinur ang Rex Agila.

    Damn, just when I thought these 'klasiks' were forgotten :) Natutuwa naman ako at may nakakaalala pa kay SuperKat, Mahimud Ali, Planet Op Di Eyps, NikNok Anok (mahilig kasi sa manok!) and Dax. Si Mahimud Ali and Dax yung favorites ko noon, pati na rin yung tatay ni Mahimud Ali na si BRUTE LEE!!! Saan ka nakakita ng kalabaw na martial artist? Sa Funny Komiks lang! Sayang, kung tutuusin, mas maganda and kwento nung mga characters na yun compared to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hindi lang nasuportahan. Long Live Funny Komiks!!!

    I grew up reading these funnies. It seemed like we never missed an issue until the later years when I was already in HSchool. Yan si Rex, Dax, Superdog et al. Pero paborito ko n'on ang Planet Op Di Eyps dahil idol ko si Matsutsu ang mahal na Hari at si Bardagol.

    If only the publishers and creators come up with "binded" copies for each of our favorite FK stories... I would definitely buy them all! Look guys, most of the FK readers are professionals now and can afford to buy these "books". Think of the potential market.

    Hmmm. My post yesterday was deleted... Funny, I just wrote that it would be great if the publishers / writers of FK will thought of reprinting / binding each book of our favorite FK series before (I also mentioned that it will be a potential hit)... Either this idea is already in the works, but I don't see any point in removing my comment... Unless, someone's going to claim this idea and establish it as his own...

    astig dahil ako simula natuto magbasa nangpolekta nko ng komiks nto. kundi lng kami naglipat lipat ng bahay baka hangang ngayon meron pko ng komiks nto. si eklok anakniknok, planet of the apes, tomas and kulas, mahimud ali, combatron, jonas amos at ram, superkat superdog, astig talga sana magkaron ulit ng ganto..

    linggo linggo laging may dala sakin neto si momy kahit halos mapunit na dahil galing palengke,talgang binabasa ko pa din lalo naung mga peyborit kong cna eklok,tinaypinay,tomas en kulas,combatron,ax at pitit...sa sobrang mahal ko etong komiks na to, i cried when the story of ekllok ended...hays...

    hi,
    i grew up collecting funny comics way back in the 80s. i myself is a cartoonist. i had one 3 or 4 pages comics story that was published in Funny Komiks sometime in the late eighties with the title "He-Boy" inspired by the tv hit series He-Man during that era. I've been keeping a copy of the issue until our place has been devastated by flood due to the effect of mt pinatubo in the mid-90s. All my collections were destroyed. I wish to see my artwork in any form, scanned, photocopied, pictured, etc. It would mean a lot to me please...thank you.

    Guys if ever you will publish back Funny Komiks..kahit re-issue nalang..alam ko sisikat pa rin ito...favorites ko > Niknok, Planet Op Di Eyps, noon at ngayon, etc..lahat yata..

    funny komiks was the best during the 80's era i grew up with this. ang galing talaga. fav ko is mantsa(hari ng dagat) ang lupet kasi ng illustration galing ng artist imagine isang batang pating na may korona hehe! astig
    naging kaibigan ng batang babae and their adventures.

    one of the funniest episode of niknok is yung ayaw niya palitan yung shorts niya ayun hinabol siya ng mga langaw.
    its like watching your favorite cartoons when you read funny komiks.

    i really miss this komiks!!! ako din every friday bumibili ng funny komiks! di kumpleto ang week ko nuon pg di ko p nbasa yon! tska nuon may mga maliliit png mga komiks..nkakatuwa! dun din ako natuto mgbasa.favorite ko c niknok!! sayang tlga, di ko naitago lahat ng komiks,kaya sana kung cno meron p nun, cge na gawa n kau ng compilation...promise patok yun!

    Funny Komiks... yup! Simply the best. Sobrang nakakamiss!
    All time favorite syempre Combatron! Isama mo na din Force1Animax- idol ko dito si Claws, Tomas en Kulas, Little Ninja, Viktar Istarkid, Jonaxx, Planet of de Eyps, Superdog, SuperBlog Niknok, Eklok and a whole lot more!

    Sana ma-reprint pero by titles na. Posible pa kaya?

    si combatron, axel, metalika,dobbernaut, deathmetal, abodawn, komikus,askal, jonax, amos, ramo, istarkid, superblag, pitit,kelvin, eklok, matsutsu, bardagol, mr & mrs, tomas, kulas.... i mizz them. sana magakaroon ng tv version ng mga yan...

    combatron astig... the story is like a cross from transformers, Voltes five, and si combatron parang megaman/transformers/ironman diba..at uhmmm may mga UPGRADE pa siya dava.. and to top it off combatron sided with his arch enemy to face the final battle saan ka pa.. eto ung series na may action comedy and the drama is there..

    i continued buying FK kahit highschool na ko kaso andaming series na bigla na lang nag hiatus yun pala stop production na, kaso hindi na ko natutuwa nung naging parang manga na ung FK. kaya i stop buying em na. Wala na yung kinalakihan natin eh..
    i would admit most of the stories sa FK eh may pinag gayahan pero yung pag kaka deliver ng stories THE FILIPINO STYLE yung ganung quality okey na eh kasi ganun yung PINOY style hindi yung parang anime (anime & manga lovers please dont be offended because manga are for the Japanese and there's nothing Pinoy about it so its not us sorry) yun din nag papa pagit sa FK because of that so called INNOVATION kaso hindi pinoy.

    kaya kahit madaming cross at inspiration ang pinagmulan ng FK i would really like na maibalik yung pinoy artistic style ng FK,

    MAY REQUEST LANG AKO SA MGA MAKAKABASA NITO. alam ko magagalit kayo.
    SANA WALANG MAG UPLOAD NG KUMPLETONG SCANS NG FK. para niyo ng awa kung magkakaron ng way to but compiled issue lets do that
    its okey if we pirate em manga because it aint ours.. BUT FK cmon lets leave this memories in our hearts and lets not disgrace it.. thank you
